CHAR_01 / DWIKY
VISUAL TBA
ROLE: LEAD DEVELOPER
Dwiky
Lead Developer / Producer
"The only thing scarier than failing is finishing and finding out it still wasn't enough."
CORE FEAR Stagnation. Being replaced — not by a person, but by irrelevance. Leading something that fails because of him.
TELL Grips things harder than necessary when discussing deadlines. Has a folder of others' achievements he checks when no one is watching.
CHAR_02 / ALIFAH
VISUAL TBA
ROLE: ART LEAD
Alifah
Art Lead / Visual Designer
"Hampir. That's my answer. Always hampir. Not because it's not done. Because done is the scariest word I know."
CORE FEAR Her work is not good enough. Deeper: it is good enough, and she still feels inadequate. Being seen as a burden.
TELL Closes her laptop 0.3 seconds before answering any question about her progress. All canvases face the wall. The best work is hidden deepest.
CHAR_03 / RIZAL
VISUAL TBA
ROLE: BACKEND DEV
Rizal
Backend Developer / Systems
"Okay, I officially am not comfortable. And I can usually tolerate discomfort to a concerning degree. This exceeds that."
CORE FEAR Being found out. Not abstract failure — the specific moment someone looks at his screen and sees all his code is commented out and nothing runs.
TELL Speaks 20% faster than everyone else. Makes his best jokes at the worst possible moments. Door always slightly open. The jokes stop before his honesty does.
CHAR_04 / ORIK
VISUAL TBA
ROLE: GAME DESIGNER
Orik
Game Designer / Narrative Systems
"Kalian semua takut. I have been watching. I know what each of you is afraid of. I just... do not have the words for mine."
CORE FEAR Not being understood — not misread, but simply never attempted. He can see everyone clearly. No one returns the favor.
TELL Has observation notes on everyone. No note about himself. Window faces the corridor, not the outside. His pen is always horizontal on the desk.
AND THEN THERE IS —
Pak Hendra
Warung Operator / Age 58 / Est. 1987
"The scariest thing is not what you haven't made. The scariest thing is what you made but never showed."

He has run the warung beneath the boarding house since 1987. He does not explain himself. He does not volunteer information. He wipes the same tables, makes the same coffee, says exactly the right thing at exactly the wrong moment.

The question the game never answers: is he someone who failed and stayed, or someone who succeeded in a way no one recognizes, or someone who made a choice that is neither?
