December 31, 1987. Never sent.

I do not know who I am writing this to. Maybe to the next team. Maybe to myself, twenty years from now, when I have forgotten what today felt like.

The project did not finish. I knew it would not. I saw it coming from the third week, when Raden started staying later and later in the project room and Sari started turning her canvases to the wall and Bimo started making jokes that were too fast, too loud, too many. I saw all of it. I did not know how to say any of it.

I am keeping the building. I do not know why. Maybe because something happened here that deserves to be remembered. Maybe because I think it will happen again, and the next time, someone should be here who understands what it means.

If you find this: you are probably one of them. You are probably afraid of something you have not said out loud yet. That is fine. You have time. Less than you think, but enough.
